Mentorship & Re-Entry
Mentoring incarcerated individuals, offering guidance, helping people think through re-entry needs and connecting them to supportive resources.
Our work is organized around four service pillars that address immediate needs while helping people move toward longer-term stability.
Mentoring incarcerated individuals, offering guidance, helping people think through re-entry needs and connecting them to supportive resources.
Assistance and referrals related to food, clothing, transportation, housing resources and other basic needs, depending on availability and relationships.
Resource navigation and support for families dealing with the challenges surrounding incarceration and a loved one's return to the community.
Employment referrals, advocacy, resource navigation and community connections designed to support independence and long-term stability.

Stable housing can be one of the greatest challenges facing someone returning to the community after incarceration. Today, Rising to Freedom works to connect individuals with available housing resources and community relationships whenever possible.
Our long-term vision is to establish transitional housing that can provide qualified individuals with a stable environment while they work toward employment, independence and permanent housing.
